Christmas starts here! Join us at Pentagon Shopping Centre and across
Chatham town centre for a day of festive celebrations, including Santa’s
Parade, Elf Yourself, Christmas shopping and the KMFM Light Switch On.
Bring the family, soak up the Christmas atmosphere and enjoy a little
festive magic as we celebrate the start of the season.

What’s happening?
Santa’s Parade — 11am
Give Santa a warm Chatham welcome as he arrives by horse-drawn carriage!
Head to the High Street for a parade filled with festive characters,
music and Christmas cheer, before Santa makes his way to the Pentagon.
Arrive early to find your viewing spot.
Elf Yourself — 12pm–4pm
Calling all little elves! Join us at the Pentagon for a festive family
adventure, delivered in partnership with Child Friendly Medway.

Not a supervised playscheme – parents must stay.
Pentagon Food & Craft Market — 10am–5pm
Browse the Food & Craft Market at the Pentagon, discover gift ideas
and pick up a festive treat while enjoying a spot of Christmas shopping.
KMFM Light Switch On — 4pm–6pm
Keep the celebrations going at Meeting House Lane with the KMFM
Light Switch On. Enjoy the festive entertainment and join the countdown
as Chatham’s Christmas lights are switched on at 5.30pm.
